As a certified mechanic, I know the ins and outs of cars. I also know how easy it is (or isn't) to perform certain conversions on cars.


Ten years ago when I first started experimenting with the different technologies to achieve superior fuel economy, I just took it for granted that getting 50-80 miles per gallon (80 to 129 kilometers) was normal with the water/HHO system installed. Today, with the advent of people selling the do-it-yourself instructions to use water as a fuel supplement, I want to shed some light on what is and what is not possible.

First, it is NOT possible to drive completely with water. You will still need gas. BUT, with the water being converted to hydrogen and fed into your engine, your engine will run on optimum efficiency.

Second, it MAY DAMAGE your car and VOID your warranty if you do not do it properly. That is why it is so important to have a very easy step-by-step guide to follow. While the process is easy and simple, if the instructions are faulty, so will be the results.

Third, it is NOT for everyone. If you do not spend more than $50 a month on gas, it really doesn't make sense.

Fourth, you may only get 50-60% increase in fuel efficiency. Depending on your car, engine size, size of water conversion kit you install, your fuel efficiency may be above this, but typical increases are from 50-60%. You still would have to buy gas each month, but your bill would likely be half than what it is right now.
